Mum's Chinese friend Yin-Yin, treated us to a Chinese meal in Stirling tonight. she calls my mum her Scottish mum. They've been friends for over twenty years. Yin-Yin knows the place well and was able to order for us from the Chinese menu, which meant I tasted food that I had not tried before. Stirling has a large Chinese student population so this menu caters for their needs and tastes. My cousin joined us, and reminisced about her trip to Shanghai and other cities in China a number of years ago, as did our hostess. So that's another few places to add to my bucket list!
