Mackintosh Festival Launch

This afternoon we launched the Mackintosh Festival at The Willow Tea Rooms.

Returning for its fourth year, the Mackintosh Festival celebrates the life and work of Glasgow's most notable architect, designer and artist, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

During the month of October there will be live music, exhibitions, workshops and talks at all of the Mackintosh venues.

Our events kick off tomorrow night at Mackintosh Queen's Cross with the exhibition preview by Iona Mackellar-Bruce. Also on display will be a rare opportunity to view two little-known CRM drawings from his Italian study tour in 1891.
