With the Tractor Tuesday Chairperson (MrsTBay) down under in Adelaide, I felt obliged to go the extra kilometer today. I can usually judge how active things are by the sound of tractors passing the house. This morning you could almost hear every sparrow tweet.but the strong cold east wind made the swirling of leaves even louder and all the local tractors in the barns.
Set off to the nearby village of Stetten assuming there would be a tractor in the parking lot of the company "Sauter" who make the front likages and PTOs for Fohn Deere, Deutz, Hew Holland and Claas. Not a single sighting so proceeded to the lvely beech foret above the village for the dog walk. At least protected from the Siberian wind but az the mercy of falling branches and twigs.
Got back home without a single photo and the afternoon didn't bring out the swarms of tractors. At sunset went to collect the horses from the field outside the property and had to take this opportunity to take at least one photo, however bad with the mobile.
Sorry Tractor Tuesday community - I have to assume the farmers were still cowering from the domesday red moon on Monday morning.
