Cooee Bird!

This is a Common Koel that notified me of its presence with a lovely cooee call.  It was camouflaged in a Mulberry Tree in our back-garden.  They’re migratory birds that travel to Australia in Spring to breed and stay until around March and then head back to Indonesia.

They love fruit trees including figs  and I’m not too keen on sharing either my mulberries or figs!    But what can you do?

They’re very shy, so getting a clear shot was a little difficult.
