Ready

Well, almost.

The flight is 11am tomorrow, so we (Junior and I) will be away from here quite early. He's going to drive me to the airport.

It's strange to plan for 3 weeks away, and in such a different place. Most of my travels are much closer to home.

On the Accra route KLM allows you 2 suitcases of up to 23 kg each. A bit of a change to the usual easyJet rules. It's a 6.5 hour flight from Amsterdam and Ghana is in the same time zone as the UK - no jet lag.

The syringe is one of the bits I'm not looking forward to. I'm "high risk" for DVT (long story) so that injection should keep me safe. I have to self administer...
