Autumn fire

I've been saying for a few days that these Autumn evenings are ideal for use of the fire pit.  Tonight was my first evening at home in several days - and my last for another few days!

So W lit the fire pit.  It was lovely to sit out as the sun faded, though not such an interesting sunset as previous days.  And there was rather a chilly wind, so our fronts were toasty, but our backs were cold.  We didn't stay out long once it got truly dark.

I did go out later to try to get some photos of the moon, but there are too many clouds tonight.
