Ball Honey-myrtle
This is quite a common native shrub in bush sites, AKA Melaleuca nodosa, but is not usually planted in gardens due to its scraggy, prickly growth.
I met up with a friend this evening in an attempt to view a colony of endangered micro bats. No luck with the bats as they appear to have moved to their summer location somewhere in the cool of the mountains but while I was waiting I flashed this shrub.
Enjoy your weekend.
