Drive Through Celtic Manor Resort

As I was waiting for my taxi to take me from here to Cardiff Airport I was amused to see how the porters drove one of these cars out through the main hotel entrance and then drove an even more expensive one back in.

With all the talk of emissions at the moment it was very noticeable, even in a multi star hotel resort such as this, that one engine can make the atrium quite fumy!

There were fumes of  a different sort at Cardiff airport as the Edinburgh flight was delayed by three hours - later became only two - but it spoilt an otherwise excellent conference.

At Edinburgh airport there were no taxis due to other late flight arrivals and loads of people wanting a cab.  Great to get home eventually as there was some talk of Flybe cancelling the flight altogether and putting us up in a hotel at the end of the runway at Cardiff Airport.  Cardiff airport seemed to have no planes there at all as all the Flybe ones were severely delayed today!
