Hoar Brook

This little brook runs through the Walsall Arboretum.  The 'arbo' as it is known locally, is a lovely green area in the centre of the town, of about 80 acres with many species of trees.  Haven't been there for several years.  The last time was to see the illuminations, which have not taken place for about six or so years, due to lack of support: a real shame.  We called there on impulse today and were much impressed with the new improvements which have been made recently.  We did not have much time so just went a short way into the park.  Now we have found it again, you are all going to be sick of photos of it.  The extra is a squirrel, who ran in front of us as we went back to the car.  He stood and stared at me for ages, but I had put the camera away and by the time I had got it out of the case he had jumped onto the wall.
