Skies clearing toward Hoy
A walk along the shores west of Stromness. It was very windy- which was why I headed there looking for big waves. The sea was pretty rough but it probably hadn't been windy for long enough to get a really big swell. Gannets, wigeon, and shags were flying and redshanks preferred to stay on the shore. About 150 pink-footed geese flew high overhead, speeding southward. More here https://www.flickr.com/photos/octobermoth/
