Rush hour...

...on the footpath from Humbleton! MrM and I were hoping to walk up the path with Louie this evening, but thought better of it - too many sheep in the way! Don't know whether someone had left a gate open, or if the farmer was using the footpath as a convenient holding pen.

Another full-on day! Called in at the nursery on the way home from work and bought a few plants in their end-of-summer sale. And after our walk, almost finished painting the second courtyard wall - almost, as I ran out of paint! Will need to buy some more tomorrow to finish it off. About to tackle the washing up before doing a couple of little DIY jobs... Must be the weekend!

(Extra photo shows my view of the Cheviot as I drive home from work. Not a cloud in the sky, but for the second day running there were clouds of smoke hanging over Wooler - we assume that they're burning off some of the heather on the hills.)
