When the fog starts to lift

Decided to take dog out early this morning whilst it was really foggy. She did wonder what was going on as walks don't occur in the morning but she was a willing participant. Being close to the ground with lots of longish hair she did get absolutely filthy and had to be showered clean when she got back

I have taken photograph of This tree before but looked very different in the mist. The mound in front of it is what they call a pie which very few farmers seem to do nowadays. It's full of their crop of beetroot and is covered with straw. Nice to see some of the old traditions still go on
