Gecko

Gary the Gecko!
Very popular little lizards, that live in the shade in the garden.....but we see them on the walls of the terraces .....mainly at night.
This little chap was about 5 cm......and stayed perfectly still until I clicked the camera....then he was off in a flash!
The geckos eat insects, including mosquitoes.....so they are popular with us!
They make no noise, no mess, don't smell ....and eat pests ......what is there not to like?!?
