Madonna and Child

A head-turning sculpture by Jacob Epstein, suspended some 20 feet above the ground in Dean's Mews, Cavendish Square, London. Apparently it is 4m in length and made of lead!

I have walked passed it many times and have often wondered about its origin. So today I looked it up!
