fanny's kittens

Our next-door neighbours' cat, Fanny, had kittens during the night!  She gave birth to two wee ones outside, brought one into the house and left it for Cendrine who then went out the back to see if there were anymore.  Sure enough, she found a baby in the porch at the back of their house.  It was freezing the poor wee thing!  Cendrine noticed that Fanny wasn't paying much attention to the kittens and was worried she'd rejected them.  Then she noticed that her tummy was still quite big and that she might have another kitten inside her.  Later that day another two kittens were born under the roof of the shed outside!!  Luckily Anthony, Cendrine's son, had heard the meowing when he was out the back playing boules!  Once Fanny had all her kittens with her, she curled up on the sofa and wouldn't let them out of her sight :)  Even the family dog, Chanel, wouldn't stop staring at them!!
