Phormium tenax

Otherwise known as New Zealand Flax, or Harakeke.

I was trying to get another bee photo, but they all came out blurred. I chose this as it almost looks like a painting to me, it's shot against a river. If there was a bee hovering (in focus) it would be perfect.

Another hot and busy day. Roll on Christmas, and holidays, I say!
