Hardwick Bay
A day spent tootling around the Penninsula today. It started off searingly hot with a very strong hot wind. We started out at 37oC but after lunch a change came through and it was back to a more manageable 28oC !! I have to say that the upper temps were a bit much for me. Thank god for the air con in the car.
Lunch was at Edithburgh and consisted of butterfish and salad. Yum.
We returned to base after lunch and enjoyed an ice cream in Minlaton under a nice shady tree.
An evening spent talking and batting off moths. Hoping that the snakes are not too encouraged by the sudden hot weather! They do say that they wake up this time of year rather grumpy and hungry............
