Ephemera

Longshaw today, welcoming people in the car park and being shadowed by a new recruit. 
Not long after my arrival, I noticed this delicate little fungus , formerly known as Japanese Umbrella, now Pleated Inkcap  - scientific name Parasola plicatilis (formerly Coprinus plicatilis) in the grass in front of me. I got a shot in quickly, as a bit like its name, I knew it wouldn't be around very long.
