Promenading on The Pantiles

The first chalybeate spring was recorded in what is now Royal Tunbridge Wells in 1606. About 80 years later what became The Pantiles was built and although most of the buildings are 19th century some are thought to date back to the 17th C.

There is a market every other weekend and on lovely days like today folk are out enjoying a coffee in the dappled afternoon sunlight.
