THE LITTLE GIRL AT THE BEACH

was so busy filling her bucket with seawater.
At some point she even filled only her shivel and walked carefully with it to her sandcastle.
A lovely day today, no wind, perhaps not as much sun as the day before, but we enjoyed every minute of it.
In the morning we went to the Ockenburg park, walked along the lanes and in the Hyacinthforest. No hyacinths grow there now of course, but here and there we spotted nice mushrooms.
In the afternoon we went to the beach. In Kijkduin a lot of events took place, which we did not see, because we walked to the north along the sea.

My haiku:

The little girl was
So seriously busy
Building her castle

And the quote by Horace, Epistles;

Once begun, / A task is easy; half the work is done.
