Here come the helicopters

Another lovely sunny day; we strolled across to Leith Market after which D headed off to Dunfermline. I had too much to do to join him at the fitba' unfortunately - particularly seeing as how the Pars eventually won 3-0! I had to go up to town for a bit of shopping (eugh), but managed to get everything I needed plus the unexpected bonus of a big glass pot that I can finally put the orchid in - I've been wanting to do it ever since I saw one at the yoga studio. Less than half price in a sale!

There was a march and demo going in at the east end of Princes St - lots of police around and a helicopter hovering overhead.
