Quiet Friday

I had a quick jaunt to Heswall for a fringe trim this morning and then did a bit of pottering in the house in the afternoon. This picture is going to be put up in the baby's room. It is a painting we got from the in-laws of the boats at Sheldrakes where we got married. I put it in the frame and placed it in the nursery ready for Joe to hang it tomorrow. I felt so guilty as Joe was supposed to be in Cardiff today but he had to forfeit the ticket as baby is still not here. So I ran him a bath for when he got home and ordered takeaway we watched the rugby on TV instead and although not an adequate substitute I hope that in the next few days I can give him the best present he can ever wish for,
