Watt science?

What a suprise to be sitting at the top table at the James Watt black tie dinner at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow tonight. We were paraded in behind a piper and then formally announced to the rest of the audience of over 400 engineers by a toast master. Even better was the fact that Adam Hart Davis was the guest speaker and was sitting directly opposite me. Here he is is in action. I managed to not ask hime where he had parked his bike! A very entertaining evening. We were even treated to the Clydesiders legacy choir.
