Bubbles on the Grand Canal
There are two major canals in Dublin. The Royal on the North side and the Grand on the South. This photo was made at a lock on the Grand Canal today. The water level at this lock was extraordinarily high so that instead of a drop of 4 metres or so it was no more than 30 cms. This put the bubbles right under my nose and easily photographed. In fact I've never noticed such a profusion of bubbles at a canal lock before.
