The torch

Another early blip.

Spent the night on the sofa with poorly boy so our coughing didn't disturb our room mates. Saw every hour of the night and more...

Despite this I rallied everyone up and out by 7.15 to see the Olympic torch. The lady carrying it is Janice Johnstone, one of the receptionists from my doctors. She had a big smile on her face (I almost didn't recognise her!). She does a lot of distance running for charity and has notched up 15 great north runs.

I didn't have a great position,unfortunately, so the best shot I managed was this one of her back!!! Oh well. At least I can say I saw it!

Now back home for breakfast...
