Kowhai flowers

It's lovely to see the Kowahi tree in flower - and to see the Wood Pigeons in the trees enjoying the flower nectar.

We've had a fine day - that's until we got home from milking not long ago.  We've had a brief shower of rain, although it didn't last long.  Lets hope the strong winds that we have forecast don't eventuate.
