Watching the Ships Roll In . . .

With so much happening lately, it felt great to take the day off to catch a slow ferry ride out to the San Juan Islands which lie just off the coast of WA. Fall colors are popping up everywhere these days, and one can detect a distinct crispness in the air. Here is our return ship (the brand new M/V Samish) arriving to take us home.
