Matariki

Matariki is The Moari New Year. Here local cultural groups and some from Christchurch,created a fantastic music and dance celebration of how Maui found fire. This was wonderful to watch and everyone from the litle ones to the grown ups did a fantastic job and it was exciting to watch. The theme was done with fire. it was very hard to photograph as the light changed dramaticly all the time and the orange Street lighting made it difficult as well.
