Craigentinny Marbles

Sunday morning bike ride to check out the Union of South Africa at Brunstane Station (see extra). On the way back we checked out hte Craigentinny Marbles which have been on my hit list for quite a while. The monument  commemorates William Henry Miller. There are some rumors around the burial as the coffin is buried rather deep: some suggest that he might have been a changeling or even a woman! More likely was that he wanted to be save from the body snatchers. The place is quite cool as it is now surrounded by bungalows.

Continuing with the railway theme I have also updated my website with photos from the narrow gauge Jagsttalbahn in South Germany.
