Angel's Share

1. A lot of my day is spent trying to pick up the pieces after the change last night. No one I speak to knows how to fix this. This is odd as I am speaking to some pretty fantastic people. We are all stuck. At least we are in it together.

2. After work we head over to Ashton Lane - one on bike one on the underground. We arrive at the Grosvenor at the same time and early.

3. A quick drink in Brel then we take our seats for Angel's Share. Who should be sitting next us but Colin's cousin Libby. It is indeed a small world.

4. Great film, warm and funny. Laugh out loud funny. After a quick blether with Libby we walk down Ashton Lane which is ever so Friday night. The Karaoke booth above provides the soundtrack for the laughing audience below. I take this quick snap of Colin. I think my favourite photo of him.

5. We hunt for somewhere to eat and pick the Curlers Rest - a notorious student haunt of the sticky floor variety on Byres Road, which has been done up and done up well. Nice menu, nice food, nice atmosphere. Nice pair of Macallan 10 year olds to finish.
