Calender Fodder?

I had a visit to the surgery first thing this morning for the annual winter 'flu vaccination - the appointment slots were at 2 minute intervals so it was quite busy. There was a big notice on the door saying to remove any outer clothing and roll shirtsleeves up ready for the jab. It was like being back at school - a regular little conveyor belt.

After a dog walk and a bit of a marathon blip comments catchup I headed off to our annual "Beer Festiv-ale" in the village hall.

On the way I stopped to take this shot of the church with autumn leaves in the foreground. After my success with shots for next year's village calendar I am on the lookout for submissions for 2017! This one needs a bit of work to remove the wires - but it is only taken with my little camera that records just jpg files so may not respond well to being tweaked.

Beer festival was good - a nice selection of ales. A couple of friends who used to live in the village and now live in the Isle Of Man had flown back and it was nice to catch up!
