Blot on the Landscape?

This impressive crane is standing on ground adjacent to our house. It is incredibly tall, bearing in mind that the building under construction is only three storeys high.

I could see a man up in the cab yesterday which sent me a little dizzy. I am fascinated to see it in operation though it certainly would not be the job for me!
