Pampas Grass

Somebody once told me (it might have been my old wife), that if you see pampas grass outside a dwelling, it's a sign the occupants of said dwellings are 'Swingers'! Is this true.....anybody? If it is the case, then there must be rare goings-on indeed inside the beach huts in this particularly quiet corner of sleepy old Bexhill-on-Sea!!
