Heron on a Gate

I had a wonderful walk on the Mendips today.Went to a place where I had never been before near the village of Litton where the River Chew rises to create the Chew Valley lakes.But these are the two that are high in the Mendips,long before the waters ever get into the Chew Valley.
   These are magnificent.Totally isolated and unspoilt. 
 Yet another discovery to put in my adventure of life book? 

 The Hero by the way was quite a way away but the lens performed well when needed?
