Oh dear - another little patient ..
No sooner does Jack show signs of recovery, than another invalid turns up.
This is one of the pointy foxes. His injury isn't as concerning as Jack's was, but it still would benefit from some antibiotics, though he won't be easy to treat.
It's the time of year that fox families start dispersing - this year's cubs are kicked out (although one may stay behind to help with next year's cubs) .. and some of the males seem to chop and change too - so the recent injuries could have been caused by a bit of in family fighting.
Since living here, it's only Auntie and Mama who have been here since I started knowing individual foxes. The males come and go - occasionally disappearing for a year, then reappearing.
