Good friends

We've had a fab day today meeting up with some old friends. We met half between where we all live at a beautiful National Trust property. We walked through the grounds and had a picnic in the sunshine. It was gloriously warm. The children had a great time running about. The girls played fairies under the trees and enjoying looking at their maps. They all got on so well that you wouldn't believe they haven't seen each other for over a year. The three little ones tried to keep up with them and A followed P tirelessly. He enjoyed collecting leaves and seeing all the animals. On the way back to the car all the children took it in turns to ride on our buggy board, even the little ones! It's been in such demand!

It was lovely to have catch up and to hear about how everyone is doing. I feel so privileged to have such a great circle of friends from my old town, that even though I had to move away, still take the effort to keep in touch in one way or another. Wish I could see you all more often xx
