Borders Railway, Galashiels

In Gala today so had a look at the new station and rail/bus interchange building, which houses a decent cafe still open at 5pm on a Sunday, a rarity for the town. 

Non locals may not know that between 1969 and last month you couldn't catch a train anywhere in the Borders.
