Unknown Wales

A fascinating day in Cardiff at a Wildlife Trust Wales conference titled Unknown Wales.  There were 7 talks in all, and of varied topics to keep people interested, my particular favourites with the geology of the South Wales coalfields, Wales’ orchids on the brink of extinction and the Ospreys at Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust.  All speakers had masses of enthusiasm for their subject matters and were able to transfer that across to the audience.  A brilliant conference!

Stayed in Cardiff for the Devils match later on in the evening, another win but we’re still not firing on all cylinders for whatever reason.
