Harvest...

Today was our harvest at church. It's been a lovely day. The family service this morning was great and plenty of groceries were bought in for the Guernsey Welfare and the church's Lord's Larder. Both of these help folks with food if they are going through tough times. We had lunch with the family at a local restaurant to celebrate my sister in laws birthday and mine. This evening we took the grandchildren to our harvest supper which was a great time of fun, food and fellowship. We then took them home, settled them down to sleep and waited till mummy and daddy got home from some time out together. All in all a busy but lovely day!
