Hard work in progress

Today is bright and sunny so far, which makes a nice change, although it is still windy and the temperature is quite low. Mrs GOG decided to tidy up one of our flower borders, which due to both of us having back troubles had become more of a weed bed than flower border. I have not even been trying to help, since each time I bend down, she has to help me up. This particular border covers about 100 square metres, so just pulling out the weeds and carting them away is quite a serious job, without trying to hoe or do any other tidying work, especially if you are doing it alone. In consequence I have been trying to give moral support by providing lots of cups of coffee etc. Today's picture is of a section of the partly cleared border, taken while she has temporarily ceased work for lunch and to watch the F1 Qualifying.
