Birthday Picnic

After a very late night of music and singing around an outside fire, a bimble on the kayaks seemed like a lovely idea to celebrate my actual birthday day! We left Audley Cove and headed off to Horse Island, kayaked along the south side and enjoyed some deserted beaches, sea caves and rock sculptures. Then a short hop across to Castle Island for an explore of some ruined farmhouses and a picnic on the beach, food tastes so good outdoors, that's me on the left and friend and fellow blipper BAT. The sun came out for our homeward journey via Rossbrin Harbour and Shelly Beach. We had saved some birthday cake for our final beach stop and had fun decorating and photographing chocolate cake on the rocks! Do take a peep at my extra pictures of wild women and wild food!!
