Here's another fine mess...

Well, who knows if it is or isn't but the City of Edinburgh planners and councillors are allowing some terrible things to happen in the Old and New towns just now.

My list? Too long to put it all down but the current worst are Caltongate / New Waverley, Old Royal High School (Calton Hill) and the St James Centre.

Plus all the tourist tat shops and endless student flats.

I suppose most destination cities succumb to tgis, but...
