Autumn leaves

Found these great piles of multi-coloured leaves today at the side of the road. A real sign of winter coming. Autumn for us is always a season of great skeins of geese flying in from the northern wastes with their distinctive calls and they have been arriving in huge numbers for the last few weeks. I found a great flock of them feeding in a nearby field yesterday.
I love our changing seasons :)
