Common Darter Dragonfly
Another warm day today, and less haze than yesterday, the first day of October brought the warmest day of the week. Inverleith Park is busy with schoolkids and people having their lunch in the park. The bird life is not playing ball, and its difficult to get a good shot of anything floating on the water.
My lunchtime blip capture is save by this common darter dragonfly, which lands on the boardwalk in front of me. I try to use the macro lens and zoom together, but its difficult to focus. I get this one good shot before it notices me and flies away. It does ;and back in front of me, but further away this time. Getting close won't be possible.
