Sunrise in the Med

A perfect morning for the start of the swim.  We were on the water before light and swimmers jumped into the water at 7.30am to swim into a fabulous sunrise.  And that was the highlight of the day.  It turned out to be a long grueling swim for everyone with only 10% of the field finishing the swim. They swam for hours against unpredictable currents.   I was very glad I wasn't in the water.
