Yellow dung fly revisited
I actually had a choice today, even though the weather was not good, very blustery, making photography difficult. I decided to go for a repeat of the dung fly because you can really see the drum stick very clear. As I have mentioned before, this is the evolution of the second pair of wings into counterbalance weights and is an indication of a true fly.
As with all my insect blips, you should view large to see the detail.
