Fish and Chip Babies

I found a pattern on line some time ago and gave it out to the ladies who come to my knitting night. They have been real champions as this must be the 5th batch of jumpers ready to be delivered to the lady who sends them off to Malawi. They have to be bright colours as they are unlikely to get washed,
The teddies were knitted by my Aunt P. She must have knitted hundreds of them when she was able. These are some she had knitted but not sewn up, we still have a few more to finish that she started.
They are called fish and chip jumpers as often the new babies are wrapped in newspaper when there are no clothes.
