Goldenrod Blooming

It is truly fall. It may still be warm when the sun is out, but the nights are cool, and the light has changed. The goldenrod is opening its tight little buds and exuding the pungent scent that causes one's nose to tickle and run. Still it is beautiful and brings joy to the summer weary spirit.
