A few days off ..

I took mum into the care home for a few days, while I visit my friend who has foxes and a baby raccoon!

I went into Boots - and guess what? I was actually allowed to collect mum's specs on presentation of the Power of Attorney paperwork - whoopeedoo!

I bought a few clothes for myself. I'm beginning to understand what people mean about carers losing themselves. I have never been a particularly well groomed, sociable person - but I have become such an unkempt slob it's really rather depressing.
