Trapped in the house

I've been here all day waiting for a delivery. The contents are replacement trainers as these have reached peak comfort but are, sadly, no longer water-resistant. 

Of course the delivery didn't arrive. 

On the upside; I got a load of ironing done and watched two DVDs including the sublime "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy". I never tire of watching this film. Stellar cast, fantastic period setting and pitch-perfect pacing. I'm sorely tempted to reinvest in the books and wallow in them all again; my original copies are long lost in my perambulations around Europe.
